From the early 1970s to the early 2000s, the emergence of the punk scene in the creative and social spheres saw the development of a new fashion closely linked to music. Johnny Rotten, Paul Simonon, Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood, as pioneers, influenced public perception of the punk scene through their outrageous appearance and rebellious lyrics.
